Man killed in Tampere, suspect held

A miscreant allegedly killed a man inside an apartment house at Nekala in Tampere on Monday, police said in a press release on Tuesday.

The deceased was born in late 1970s and hailed from Tampere.

Responding to an alarm police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the apartment.

Police arrested an adult man, who lives in the same locality from Tampere city centre area in connection with the suspected murder.

The police, however, did not divulge detail about the incident and the identities of the deceased and the suspect but said that they knew each other for a long time.

The police are investigating into the case as suspected murder.
