Kela floats tender for 2026 maternity package

The national social insurance institution- Kela issued a new procurement notice for products to be included in the 2026 edition of the maternity package, said Kela in a press release on Wednesday.

The procurement was suspended earlier because there was significantly less demand for the package than expected due to the declining birth rate.

The procurement schedule and the volume of orders have been adjusted.

The new deadline for submitting tenders is December 2 at 3:00 p.m. and questions can be submitted via the procurement service until November 18 at 12:00 O’clock, the press release added.
