1 found dead at school ground in Kontiolahti

One person was found dead at the yard of Kylmäoja school in Kontiolahti on Saturday, police said in a press release on Sunday.

Responding to an alarm from a passerby in the morning, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of an adult person from there.

The Police, however, did not divulge the identity of the deceased as it could not be verified immediately.

The reason behind the death could not be known but after the preliminary investigation police did not suspect any crime link to the death.

Police are investigating into the incident to find out more information in this regard.
