President Alexander Stubb on Saturday had a telephone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The Presidents of Finland and France discussed cooperation between the countries to strengthen European security and defence, transatlantic relations and support for Ukraine, said the Finnish President Office in a press release.
Meanwhile, Stubb in a post on his social media platform X wrote that he held telephone conversation with Macron and Meloni on Saturday.
“I just had a phone call with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni. Our discussion focused on the security situation in Europe, transatlantic relations and the strong support for Ukraine. Peace in Ukraine can only be negotiated with Ukraine,” Stubb wrote in the post.
