Finland delivered 68 truckloads of civilian material assistance to Ukraine during May and November, said Ministry of the Interior in a press release on Wednesday.
Most of the material has been donated by companies, but also by the pubic and third sectors.
As a result of Russia's war of aggression, Finland has so far donated 379 truckloads of civilian material assistance and 88 vehicles to Ukraine.
In recent months, Finnish companies have donated energy sector supplies, such as 936 solar panels, engines, transformers and generators.
The deliveries have also included IT equipment, water supply and firefighting equipment, and rescue service vehicles.
In addition, Finland has sent a vessel for mine clearance, a portable modular childcare building, and hospital supplies for rehabilitation and children’s hospitals.
Civilian material assistance plays a key role in maintaining the resilience of the Ukrainian society and the operational capacity of the authorities.
“Russia systematically destroys Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, so there is a great need for energy sector aid in particular. Among other things, Ukraine also needs water supply and waste management support, and various types of vehicles,” said Specialist of the Ministry of the Interior Heikki Honkanen.
Finland has donated 26 defence materiel packages to Ukraine.
