2 stabbed in Vantaa apartment, 3 including victims held

Two people were injured in a knife battle inside an apartment at Asola area in Vantaa late Sunday night, police said in a press release on Monday.

The incident took place at about 8:00 p.m. when a group of three people engaged in a quarrel at the stairwell of the building at Valtimotie area in the locality.

At certain stage they attacked each other with sharp knives as a result two of them were critically injured. They were taken to hospital.

Police arrested all the three people in connection with the incident. One of them was arrested from the spot while the rest injured two were arrested from the hospital.

One of them was still undergoing treatment in the hospital, said police.

Police said that all the three suspect are men of 23 years, 28 years and 31 years old and they are known to each other.

Police, however, did not divulge their detail identities and relations among them.

The police are investigating into the incident to find out more information in this regard.
