Parliament observes moment of silence for victims of Ukraine war

​The Finnish Parliament on Friday observed a moment of silence for the Ukrainians who have lost their lives and suffered in the Russia´s invasion, said an official press release.

The moment of silence was held marking the third anniversary of the major Russian offensive in Ukraine scheduled to be observed on Monday, February 24.

Members of Parliament acknowledged the presence of Ukraine's Ambassador to Finland Olga Dibrova, who was attending the plenary session on Friday.

Speaker Jussi Halla-aho also had a meeting with Ambassador Dibrova on Friday.
