Finland to work for achieving just, lasting peace in Ukraine

The President and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy on Friday discussed Finland’s support for Ukraine, said an official press release.

The committee at meeting stated that Finland together with its Allies and partners will continue to support Ukraine and work towards achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

The meeting also discussed about marking the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Monday.

Earlier on Thursday, President Alexander Stubb had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy and discussed Finland’s support for Ukraine and steps to find a sustainable and just conclusion to Russia’s war of aggression.
