7 killed in road mishaps in Finland in February

A total of seven persons were killed and 140 others injured in 114 road accidents in Finland in February, according to Statistics Finland.
The number of fatalities was 10 lower and number of persons injured 44 lower than in February 2024.
Meanwhile, 20 people were killed and 316 others injured road accidents in the country in the first two months of this year.
The number of deaths was seven lower and the number of persons injured 61 lower than in the corresponding period of 2024.
Of the persons who were killed, 15 travelled by passenger car, two by van and one by lorry.
One pedestrian was killed. In addition, one other road user was killed.
