A Finnish man, who reportedly went to Uganda to market the products of Patria, a state-owned defence arms factory, was found dead in Kampala last week, reported the national broadcaster Yle.
The body was found in a hotel room, said the Yle report.
Meanwhile, Economic Affairs Minister Mika Lintilä, who is responsible for state ownership steering, has asked a report from Patria in this regard.
Former minister Suvi Lindén of the Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) reportedly accompanied the deceased on the trip, but Patria denied any communication with her.
Foreign Minister Timo Soini said he, too, is keeping a close watch on the developments in this regard, adding that the reason behind the death is still unclear.
