The charges were framed on Tuesday with the District Court of Southwest Finland in this regard, said a press release issued by the office of the prosecutor general.
Two people were stabbed to death and eight other injured at Turku market square when the miscreant attacked on them indiscriminately on August 18, 2017.
The preliminary hearing of the case is expected to begin this spring where a panel of three judges will take part in the hearing.
Earlier, The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) completed the pre-trial investigation into the case on February 7 this year.
The Investigators said that Bouanane considered himself a soldier of ISIS, but was radicalised only shortly before the attack took place.
