Bomb hoax forces to close 3 schools in Pirkkala

The authorities closed three schools at Pirkkala, near Tampere following a bomb threat on Tuesday morning, reported National Broadcaster Yle.
About 1200 students of Pirkkala upper secondary school, Suupanniitty lower secondary school and Naistenmatka primary school were sent back to the home to avoid any risk after the authority was informed about the threat at about 7.40 am.
Police asked the authority to stop the academic activities for temporary period and the authority informed the parents in this regard.
The Central Finland Police said that the law enforcing agency is searching all the buildings to avoid any danger.
The authority, however, said that the classes at the schools will resume normally on Wednesday.
News agency Xinhua adds: A bomb threat shouted by a passing hoodie cyclist caused a major evacuation of three schools in Pirkkala, near Tampere, central Finland on Tuesday morning, local media said.
The police investigated in the schools and found no bomb.
Local paper Aamulehti reported the man's face could not be seen as he wore dark hoodie clothing.
Following the school shootings in the late 2000s and early 2010s, Finnish schools have imposed fast evacuation plans.
