China is willing to work with Finland to boost the development of state-to-state and party-to-party relations, a senior Chinese official has said.

Qian Hongshan, deputy head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks here during a visit scheduled from June 7 to June 11.

Qian, who led a CPC delegation, attended the 77th party congress of Finland's Center Party during his visit to the northern European country.

He met with Prime Minister Juha Sipilä, who is also the chairman of the Center Party, and leaders of the Social Democratic Party, and deeply promoted Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

The Finnish side said they are willing to enhance cooperation with China in various fields, deepen party-to-party exchanges, and push forward the continuous development of Finland-China relations.
