Kazakh president due in Helsinki on Wednesday

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev is scheduled arrive in Helsinki on Wednesday on an official visit, said Office of the Finnish President in a press release.
The visit will begin with a welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace. After the ceremony, President Sauli Niinistö and President Nazarbayev will hold discussions on bilateral relations as well as some international issues, like relations with the United States, China and Russia. After the discussion, the Presidents will hold a joint press conference.
In the afternoon, Nazarbayev will lay a wreath at the Hietaniemi cemetery and visit the technology company Nokia.
Niinistö and Nazarbayev last met in June 2017, when the Finnish president visited the Astana World Expo in Kazakhstan.
The presidents have also met previously when Niinistö visited Kazakhstan in 2015 and 2013.
The last time Nazarbayev visited Finland was in 2009, which was a state visit hosted by the then Finnish President Tarja Halonen.
