4 Finns reportedly killed in Zimbabwe plane crash

Five people including four Finnish tourists were reportedly killed when a small plane was crashed at Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe on Friday, according to ZimLive.com, an English language daily from Zimbabwe.
Different media, however, reported that the human causality in the accident was three without mentioning their nationalities while another news site Journal du Cameroun.com said that one of the victims feared to be Finnish national.
Local media reported that the Finnish Foreign Ministry was aware of the incident but failed to confirm the nationality of the victims till late Friday night.
ZimLive.com said that a small plane went down in Tokwane-Ngundu, Masvingo Province, on Friday morning killing five people including four tourists from Finland.
The Zimbabwean pilot of the Cessna 182 aircraft, who died in the crash, has been named as Barry Style.
It also said that the Finnish embassy in Harare was contacting the dead quartet’s next of keen.

The Journal du Cameroun.com quoting state media reported that three people, one of them believed to be a Finland national, are feared dead after a Cessna light aircraft they were traveling in crashed in Zimbabwe’s southern Masvingo province on Friday.
Police recovered a Finnish identity card, a passport and bank cards, said the report.

News Agency Xinhua adds: A private plane crashed Friday morning at Chamanjenjere Hills close to Renco Mine in Masvingo Province and three people are feared to have died on the spot, the state broadcaster reported.
Witnesses told the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation that they heard loud noises as they were going about their daily activities at around 7 am.
This prompted them to go outside to check what was going on and they saw parts of the plane falling off before they eventually heard a loud bang.
They rushed to the hills where they discovered body parts scattered all over the place.
Police investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
