2 burnt to death at Valkeakoski, murder suspected

Two people were burnt to death in a fire broke out in an apartment at Valkeakoski near Tampere late Friday night.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide, reported National broadcaster Yle.

Both the deceased were men and aged 40 years and 39 years.

Police said that the bodies were found in the flat that was ablaze after a call to emergency services at about midnight and the apartment was on fire when the rescue services rushed to the spot.

Police are investigating whether the deaths caused by the fire or they died before the fire took place. But there was reason to suspect involvement of third party in the incident.
