SDP most favourite to form next govt: Survey

The main opposition party in the parliament Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland-SDP) is the most favourite party to form next government after the April 14 parliamentary polls, according to a survey.
The survey report published by The Foundation for Municipal Development (Kaks.fi), a total of 45% of Finns want to see SDP in the state power.
Another opposition Vihreä Liitto (Green League) has become second favourite with the support of 35% respondents followed by ruling Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) with 33% support and the Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party of Finland) with 32%, said the survey report released on Saturday.
Vasemmistoliitto ( Left Alliance) got 25%, Ruotsalainen kansanpuolue (Swedish People's Party) 23% and Kristillisdemokraatit (Christian Democrats of Finland) 18%.
Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) is the only party, which gained more support (18%) this year compared to the result of similar survey conducted by the same organization last year.
The respondents who plan to vote in favour of SDP, Vihreät and Vasemmistoliitto said that they are interested to see an alliance government with these three parties.
The survey conducted by the pollster Kantar TNS with interviewing 1,112 people from 18 to 79 year in all parts of the country.
The margin of error for the results is less than three percentage points in either direction.
