Haavisto favourite as next PM:poll

Pekka Haavisto has emerged the favourite to become the next prime minister of the country, according to a poll by Helsingin Sanomat, a Finnish language daily.
Haavisto, the chair of the Vihreä Liitto (Green League) leads the queue with 22 percent of the support. Haavisto is followed by Petteri Orpo, the chair of Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) at 16 percent.
Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland-SDP) chair Antti Rinne is supported by 15 percent of the respondents and is followed by Juha Sipilä, the leader of Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party of Finland) with 14 percent of the support.
Jussi Halla-aho, the party of Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) garnered 9 percent of the support, and Li Andersson, the party leader of Vasemmistoliitto (Left Alliance) got 5 percent of the support.
The poll was conducted by Kantar TNS.
