Commentary on the Ninth report of the Secretary-General of the UN

The key finding and recommendations of the report reflected the reality of the official Iranian behavior, for it confirmed its involvement in the attacks on our oil facilities. The international community is no longer oblivious to such deceitful behavior. We support that the Iranian government must be pressured by the international community, to quit its disturbing behavior the region.

The Kingdom is strongly committed to establishing and maintaining international peace and security. It constantly demonstrates its openness and willingness, such as when inviting the international community to conduct an independent investigation of the attacks. Furthermore, it also provides safe international maritime waterways and ports.

We call on the international community to act responsibly in light of the outcomes of the Secretary-General’s report.
