Italian Serie A side Juventus defeated 10-man Porto 1-0 to enter the quarter-finals of the Champions League, for only the second time in four years, here at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
Juventus, coming into the match with a 2-0 win in Portugal three weeks earlier which ensured them of a comfortable position, dominated the entire match and there was no miraculous fight-back from Porto as Maxi Pereira was sent-off for deliberate handball after 40 minutes.
Paulo Dybala scored a low penalty in the 42nd minute of the game and ensured his side enter the last eight with an aggregate 3-0 win over Porto, reports goal.com.
Massimiliano Allegri's side are joined in the quarterfinals by English champions Leicester City, who beat Sevilla 1-0 in Tuesday's other game.
This will be Juventus's first appearance in the last eight since 2015, which came on their way to a 1-3 defeat by Barcelona in the final.
