The Finland reached to the semi-finals in the 2019 Ice Hockey Women's WC beating Czech Republic by 3 goals to 1 in the quarter-finals in Metro Arena in Espoo on Thursday.
The Finns will face Canada in the semi-finals on Saturday.
Captain Jenni Hiirikoski, Michelle Karvinen and Susanna Tapani scored one goal each to ensure victory for the Lioness.
"When the big game starts, the stars usually appear," Finnish coach Pasi Mustonen told IIHF, adding that they did it today.
Earlier, Finland beat Switzerland by 6-2, Russia by 4-0 and lost to USA by 2-6 and Canada by 1-6 in the tournament.
