1 million tickets sold for FIFA Women's WC

FIFA announced on Tuesday that over one million tickets have been allocated worldwide for the ongoing 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

The world's football governing body said that four days after the tournament kicked off, over one million tickets have been allocated to fans worldwide.

FIFA revealed that 14 out of the 52 matches have been sold out, including the tournament opener between hosts France and South Korea in Paris last Friday as well as several matches later in the competition.

FIFA said that tickets are still available through its official website with price starting from nine euros.

The 14 sold-out matches also include semifinals and the final held in Lyon.

The quadrennial football tournament is underway from June 7 to July 7 in nine French cities.
