Overtime goal brings victory for HJK against Red Star

Finish champion HJK Helsinki on Wednesday beat Serbian champion Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) by 2 goals to 1 in the second leg of the qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League in Helsinki.

The match was held in the Telia 5G Arena in Töölö at 7:00pm.

Sebastian Dahlström took the HJK ahead after scoring at the beginning of second half but Dušan Jovančić of Red Star equalized the score at 56th minute.

Finally the extra time score by Riku Riski ensured the 2-1 victory for the hosts.

Earlier, on July 24 in the first leg of the qualifying round Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) defeated HJK Helsinki by 2 goals to 0 at the Rajko Mitic stadium in Belgrade.
