Riiber achieves back-to-back wins in WC Ruka

Norway's Jarl Magnus Riiber continued his in-form play into the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season by winning back-to-back in Ruka, Finland on Saturday.
It was another start-to-finish victory for Riiber. He registered a match-best 133.2 points by flying to 142.5 meters in the jumping part. With an 11-second advantage over the nearest rival, he went on to finish the 10km cross-country skiing in a leading time of 26 minutes and 12.7 seconds.
Following Norwegians' podium sweep in Friday's season opener, Vinzenz Geiger of Germany stole the show this time by sitting second, 48.8 seconds behind Riiber.
19-year-old Jens Lurass Oftebro from Norway once again stood on the podium with a 48.9-second deficit from Riiber, followed by teammates Espen Bjoernstad and Joergen Graabak.
Nordic Combined World Cup action in Ruka will be concluded on Sunday by a large hill ski jumping and followed-up 10km distance skiing.
