Team Finland beat Germany 4-0 to win the title of the Alpine skiing parallel mixed team event at Winter Youth Olympic Games here on Wednesday.

Losing only 2 of the total 12 runs before the finals, Finnish pair of Rosa Pohjolainen and Jaakko Tapanaien didn't give any chance to their German opponents Max Geissie-Haubie and Lara Klein during the last 4 races of this match.

"I had that passion to win today," said Tapanainen, "it's a cool event, different but fun."

Before meeting team Germany, Finland had defeated Italy 4-0, Norway 3-1 and France 3-1.

Geissler-Hauber said he was satisfied by knocking out a strong Swiss team of double gold medallist Amelie Klopfenstein and Slalom silver medalist Luc Roduit.

In the third place finals, France and Austria tied on 2-2. But the Austrian pair Amanda Salzgeber and Philip Hoffmann took the bronze medal as their four-run combined time was 0.11 seconds faster than the French pair.
