Pukki´s record breaking scores keep Finland´s WC dream alive

Teemu Pukki scored twice to ensure victory against Kazakhstan in the World Cup qualifier held in Astana Nur-Sultan stadium on Tuesday afternoon keeping Finland´s hope alive to play in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Pukki scored the first goal at 45th minutes in the first half to touch the international 32 goals record of Jari Litmanen for Finland and netted the second goal at 48th minute in second half to break the goals record.
Earlier on 4 September Finland scored its first victory in the World Cup qualifier for 2022 as they beat Kazakhstan by a solitary goal in Helsinki.
With Tuesday´s victory Finland secured second place in the Group D together with Ukraine. France remains at the top of the group.
Finland will play against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica on 13 November and against France on 16 November.
