12 teams join Ice Hockey League 2nd tier begins on Friday

The season opener of the second tier of the Finnish ice hockey commonly known as Mestis looms as teams prepare for match day one on Friday.
The league association on Wednesday released the prospects of the all twelve teams represented in the league, said a press release.
Some teams have recruited new faces while some will be led by new coaches.
This season, Espoo United,Hermes,IPK,Jokipojat,K-Vantaa,Ketterä,KeuPa HT,LeKi, Peliitat, RoKi,SaPKo and TUTO Hockey will contest the mestis.
The briefing on the opening season was held on Friday last week in Turku. The briefing was attended by all the head coaches and the team captains.
