Niskanen wins bronze in cross-country 30km in Beijing Olympics

Finnish skier Kerttu Niskanen won bronze medal of Beijing 2022 in women's cross-country skiing 30km mass start free on Sunday.
She took one hour 27 minutes and 27.3 seconds to complete the race.
Therese Johaug of Norway won gold in the event while Jessie Diggins of the United States won silver in the event.
Johaug, the 33-year-old skier crossed the finishing line in 1 hour, 24 minutes, 54.0 seconds.
Diggins crossed the line in one hour 26 minutes and 37.3 seconds.
With this gold, Finland won total eight medals-two golds, two silvers and four bronzes- in Beijing Olympics 2022 so far.
On the same day Finland won gold in the men´s ice hockey at 2022 Winter Olympics after beating Russia (ROC-Russian Olympic Committee) by 2 goals to 1 in the final and at National Indoor Stadium in Beijing.
Earlier, on February 16, Finland bagged bronze in the women's ice hockey at Beijing Olympics 2022 on after they beat Switzerland by 4 goals to nil.
Finnish skiers Iivo Niskanen and Joni Mäki also placed second in the men's cross-country skiing team sprint on February 16 and secured the second silver medal for the country at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
On February 11, Finnish skier Iivo Niskanen bagged the gold medal of cross-country men's 15km classic at the Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
On February 10, Finnish skiers Kerttu Niskanen and Krista Pärmäkoski won silver and bronze medals respectively in the women's 10km classic of cross-country skiing at Beijing 2022.
On February 6, Iivo Niskanen brought first medal for Finland in the Beijing Winter Olympics after he won in the 15km + 15km Skiathlon.
