Bayern Munich to open 3rd overseas office in Thailand

Bayern Munich are opening a third office outside of Germany in the Thai capital Bangkok, the Bundesliga leaders said on Tuesday, reported dpa.
It follows new offices in New York (2014) and Shanghai (2017) for the record German champions.
South-East Asia is seen as a major growth market and Bayern said they wanted to "intensify direct contact with people who are enthusiastic about football, develop co-operation and expand already existing partnerships in order to promote talent in youth sectors".
There are 39 recognized Bayern fan clubs in South-East Asia. The team played in Singapore in 2017 and faced the Thailand national side in 2000.
