Suur-Hamari wins gold, Kiiveri silver for Finland at Beijing Paralympics

Matti Suur-Hamari on Monday won gold medal while Santeri Kiiveri won silver for Finland at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games in China.

Suur-Hamari secured first place in Men's Snowboard Cross SB-LL2 at Zhangjiakou Medals Plaza in Zhangjiakou, China's Hebei Province and ensured the gold for the country.

Garrett Geros of USA won silver in the event while Ben Tudhope of Australia won bronze.

Santeri Kiiveri won silver for Finland after he secured second place in the Alpine Skiing Men's Super Combined Slalom Standing at National Alpine Skiing Centre in Yanqing District, Beijing.

Arthur Bauchet of France won gold in the event while Adam Hall of New Zealand won bronze.
