Kiiveri brings gold for Finland in Paralympic Alpine Skiing

Santeri Kiiveri won gold for Finland in Alpine Skiing at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic at the Yangqing National Alpine Skiing Centre in China on Thursday.

The 21-year-old Finn, who already secured silver in the Paralympic this year ended first in the giant slalom with a time of 1:55.40.

Charles Walsh of USA won silver in the event while Arthur Bauchet of France won Bronze.

With this gold, Finland won total three medals-two golds and one silver- so far in the Beijing 2022 Paralympic, including two won by Kiiveri.

Earlier, on 7 March Suur-Hamari won gold and Santeri Kiiveri won silver at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games in China.

Suur-Hamari secured first place in Men's Snowboard Cross SB-LL2 and Kiiveri secured second place in the Alpine Skiing Men's Super Combined Slalom Standing.
