Lions score 3rd consecutive victory blowing USA

Finland scored their third consecutive victory in the Ice Hockey World Championship beating United States by four goals to one in Tampere Nokia Arena late Monday night.
Mikael Granlund took the lead for the hosts at 18th minute after scoring the opening goal in the match completely dominated by the Lions.
Valtteri Filppula increased the difference to 2-0 at the 25th minute, which was further widened by Sakari Manninen on the following minute during a power play.
Mikko Lehtonen joined the goal festival at the 31st minute to take the 4-0 lead for Finland.
The USA players tried to create pressure on the Finns to reduce the goal difference and Alex Galchenyuk scored the lone goal for the visitors just one and a half minutes before the match ends.
Earlier, in the two previous matches Finland beat Norway by 5-0 and Latvia by 2-1.
Finland will play against archrival neighbouring Sweden on Wednesday night.
