Finns secure easy 6-0 win against G.Britain

Finland secured their fourth victory in the Ice Hockey World Championship beating Great Britain by six goals to nil in Tampere Nokia Arena late Friday night.

Niklas Friman, Juuso Hietanen, Valtteri Filppula, Joel Armia, Saku Maenalanen and Toni Rajala scored one goal each in regular interval in the match completely dominated by the Lions.

"I thought it was a good game," Finnish captain Filppula told IIHF, adding, "I think we played well from the beginning. You never know how these games are going to go but I think we were prepared and we got the win that we wanted."

Earlier in the previous matches, Finland beat Norway by 5-0, Latvia by 2-1 and USA by 4-1 while lost to Sweden in tiebreaker.

Finland will face Austria on Saturday afternoon.
