Emil Ruusuvuori of Finland rebounded from a set down to claim the title at the ITF Junior Masters with a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) win over China's Wu Yibing here on Sunday.
The junior world No. 1 had a good start, but in a sudden started to make mistakes and lost the second set quickly. Wu struggled to regain his rhythm but not convincingly enough before crumbling in the tie-break of the third set.
"There is no excuse. If you lose, you lose," Wu said. "I have to improve myself in many ways, like physical fitness and state of mind."
ITF Junior Masters feature the top 8 players of this year's Junior ITF world rankings. The format is similar to the ATP/WTA year-end championships.
