Flick to announce German WC squad on November 10

Germany national team coach Hansi Flick will announce his squad for the World Cup in Qatar on November 10, the German football federation (DFB) said on Wednesday, reported dpa.

Flick can nominate 26 players for the tournament on November 20 - December 18, and by October 21 the DFB must submit a provisional list with up to 55 players to governing football body FIFA.

Players called up for the World Cup are to meet in Frankfurt on November 13. Two Bundesliga games are scheduled to be played on that day.

On November 14, the team flies to Oman for a short training camp and travel to Qatar four days later, ahead of their World Cup opener against Japan on November 23.
