Dortmund keeper Kobel set to miss CL game at Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel could miss the Champions League last 16 second leg at Chelsea due to muscular problems in his thigh, reported dpa.

According to the Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper, "there's very little hope" he can play against the English side following the first medical tests. Dortmund have a 1-0 advantage after the first leg.

Kobel missed the 2-1 win against RB Leipzig on Friday after he complained about muscular issues during the warm-up. Last year, he was sidelined for several weeks due to a similar injury. Therefore, the club doesn't want to take any risk.

Alexander Meyer, who played against Leipzig, is expected to start the match in London.
