FC Barcelona moved into second place in La Liga with a dominant 3-0 win away to Atletico Madrid on Sunday night, reported Xinhua.
Barca was the better team from start to finish and took the lead through striker Joao Felix, who is on loan from Atletico.
FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez was sent off for protesting before halftime, and Atletico brought on Memphis Depay and Antoine Griezmann at halftime, but the game was beyond doubt when Robert Lewandowski scored Barca's second with a right footed shot, two minutes after the break.
Ferran Torres scored Barca's third with a diving header after Lewandowski's cross with 25 minutes left to play, and Atletico's night was made worse when Nahuel Molina was sent off in injury time.
Vinicius Jr scored twice as Real Madrid won 4-1 away to Osasuna on Saturday, while the forward also saw a yellow card which earned him a suspension.
The first goal came after a defensive error and although Ante Budimir quickly canceled that out, Dani Carvajal put Real Madrid back ahead after 18 minutes.
Fede Valverde put Brahim Diaz through the middle to add a third in the second half, before Vinicius made it 4-1 from a tight angle.
Yellu Santiago scored the only goal and goalkeeper David Soria made some big saves to gift Getafe a 1-0 win over Girona.
A 30th minute penalty save from Athletic Club keeper Unai Simon was quickly followed by two goals by Gorka Guruzeta as they won 2-0 at home to Alaves.
Alaves had matched Athletic until the penalty save, but never recovered from Guruzeta's goals after 32 and 37 minutes.
Alex Baena saw a penalty saved by Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili in Villarreal's 1-0 win at home to Valencia.
The Georgian international stopped everything Villarreal could throw at him, but was unable to stop Jorge Cuenca's 54th minute header that decided the game.
Leo Baptistao's 14th minute goal gave Almeria their first win of the season in Pepe Mel's debut after replacing Gaizka Garitano earlier in the week.
Celta Vigo came from behind to take a vital win away to Sevilla to move five points clear of the relegation zone.
Youssef En-Nesyri put Sevilla ahead after running through on goal in the 16th minute, but Carles Perez equalized with a stunning left footed shot in the 72nd minute and Jorgen Strand Larsen scored the winning goal after a cross from the left, six minutes later.
The result was a perfect start for new Celta coach Claudio Giraldez.
Inigo Perez gained his first win as Rayo Vallecano coach as his side won 2-0 at home to Betis to ease their relegation fears.
Florian Lejeune put Rayo ahead in the 40th minute with a thumping free kick and Sergio Camello sealed an important win with a finish inside the Betis area with 12 minutes left to play.
Mallorca also took a big step towards safety with a 1-0 win at home to Granada, thanks to Antonio Raillo's 85th minute from Sergi Darder's 85th minute corner.
The win lifts them eight points clear of the bottom three, while Granada remain second from bottom with just 14 points.
Real Sociedad beat Cadiz 2-0 on Friday night with Mikel Merino opening the scoring in the first half, before Arsen Zakharyan assured the points 22 minutes from time.
