Spain international Dani Olmo is being coy about his future after his impressive performance in helping his country win the European Championship in Germany, reported Xinhua.

The 26-year-old scored three goals in the tournament and was included in the ideal-starting 11 after his impressive displays in an attacking midfield role and that has started rumors about where he could play his football next season.

Although Olmo began his career in the Barcelona and Espanyol youth systems, he has never played top-flight football in his homeland, playing first for Croatian side, Dinamo Zagreb, before joining German outfit, RB Leipzig in 2020.

When asked about his plans in the Spanish sporting press on Wednesday, Olmo did not give much away.

"There are various options and the people who look after my affairs know what I want," said the striker, who added that it was "time to rest" after the European Championship.

However, he also made it clear that if he did move, then he wanted to go "to a place where I am valued and the most important thing for me is to win, because I am very ambitious."

Although he has been linked with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Olmo also pointed out that "we have won titles at Leipzig and the club knows how ambitious I am."

"It's always nice to be linked with big clubs," concluded the forward.
