Adam Hlozek scored both goals as Hoffenheim shook off their poor Bundesliga form to beat Dynamo Kiev 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday, reported dpa.

Hlozek, who arrived in summer from German champions, opened the scoring in the 22nd minute into the left corner and made it 2-0 on the hour after a one-two with Andrej Kramaric.

Hoffenheim got their first win of the league stage after an opening 1-1 draw at Denmark's Midtjylland. Kiev remain on zero points and goals, having also lost their first match 3-0 against Lazio.

Hoffenheim and their beleaguered coach Pellegrino Matarazzo got a much needed breather after they lost the last four Bundesliga matches to rank third last.
