Lewis Hamilton enjoyed a comfortable win in the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on Sunday to move 17 points clear at the top of the drivers' championship.
Hamilton led from the off and rarely looked in trouble as he finished ahead of his Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas to complete a 1-2 for Mercedes on a day which began with a bad crash.
The race had only just started when Romain Grosjean lost control and spun off, taking Nico Hultenburg's Renault and Pierre Gasly, Toro Rosso out of the race on just the third corner, leading to the introduction of the safety car.
However, once the car was withdrawn Hamilton was able to drive away with few problems with Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finishing third.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished fourth, after his team decided on a second pit stop to give him fresher tyres for the closing laps and he paid for the error as he was then unable to overtake Verstappen and Bottas.
