Finland hosts Nordic Military Shooting Contest Jan 25-29

Pori Brigade will host the 50th Nordic Military Shooting Championships in Säkylä and Hollola from June 25 to 29, said an official press release.

Most of the competition events will be held in Säkylä but 300 m events will be held in Hollola (Hälvälä shooting range).

A total of about 90 athletes from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark will compete in Nordic Military Championships. There a total of 16 athletes will participate from host nation Finland.

Soldiers will be competing in different rifle and pistol events and in field shooting events both individually and in teams.

The head of competition is Chief of Staff of Pori Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Torsti Astrén.
