Finland midfielder Fredrik Jensen has joined Augsburg from Dutch outfit Twente Enschede, the Bundesliga club announced on Thursday.
The 20-year-old has penned a five-year deal and will stay with the "Fuggerstaedter" until June 2023. Twente Enschede and Augsburg agreed not to release further contract details.
"We are pleased that we have been able to sign Fredrik Jensen. He is a young and talented player who can develop further in our familiar environment," Augsburg's CEO Stefan Reuter said.
The new arrival has played for Twente since 2016 where he scored nine goals in 55 appearances. Jensen has been part of Finland's national team since 2016 and has scored twice in his six appearances.
"As a little boy I always dreamed of playing in one of the European top leagues. I am really looking forward to the new challenge here," Jensen told the club's official homepage. Augsburg finished the Bundesliga season in 12th place this season.
