I'm delighted with Pogba: Mourinho

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho on Friday poured cold water over rumors of bad relations between himself and French international midfielder Paul Pogba.
Reportedly the subject of transfer interest from FC Barcelona, who have not ruled out trying to complete a deal before the end of August, Pogba scored Manchester United's first goal of the season when they beat Leicester City 2-1 last Friday. However when he spoke to the press after the game he fueled speculation over his future by saying "if you're not happy, you cannot give your best."
In his press conference ahead of his side's trip to face Brighton at the weekend, Mourinho countered the rumors by saying he was delighted with the World Cup winner.
"The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks, I've never been so happy with him as I am now," said Mourinho, who told reporters Pogba would retain the captain's armband for the trip to the South coast.
"I cannot demand more from him, I cannot ask more from him. He came here on Monday, he trained three days, I asked for his support, contribution in a match where we had difficulties. He did it and he did it better and for more time than we could expect," commented the coach, adding Pogba's attitude was "exactly what I want."
Mourinho said he had not asked the player for any explanation over last week's comments.
"I didn't ask him, I'm not going to ask him;I want him to work the way he's doing, for me that's the only thing that matters."
"Please don't put him in a situation where people can think he (Pogba) is not a polite, educated guy, which he is. He never had a fight with me, we never had a hard exchange of words; everything is respected. I have no problems at all," concluded Mourinho.
