Germany's Christina Schwanitz won the shot put competition with a throw of 19.25 meters at the 77th edition of the International Stadium Festival (ISTAF) in Berlin's Olympic Stadium on Sunday.
Two weeks after losing the European Championship to Paulina Guba, Schwanitz secured the victory at the same location.
"The competition today was as awesome as the European Championships two weeks ago. Paulina won at the European Championships and today I won. That is the great thing about sports, it is always exciting," Schwanitz said.
Poland's Guba took the second place after throwing 18.58m. Germany's Sara Gambetta came on third with a throw of 18.43m.
The ISTAF in Berlin's Olympic Stadium is the biggest athletics meeting in the world and attracts annually 50.000 spectators as approximately 180 athletes from 40 countries and regions compete in 15 disciplines.
