16 teams decided for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019

The list of participating teams has been finalized for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 on Wednesday.

The eight group winners and the six best-ranked second-placed teams are joining co-hosts Latvia and Serbia at the European women's basketball showpiece, which is slated for June 27 to July 7, 2019.

A total of 32 teams took part in the qualifiers which ended on Wednesday.

Czech Republic, France, Britain, Italy, Montenegro, Russia, Spain and Turkey qualified as group winners, while Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden and Ukraine advanced as runners-up.

The official draw will be held on December 12 in Belgrade, with the teams to be drawn into four groups of four teams each.
