Easter return traffic peaks on Monday afternoon

Easter return traffic is expected to pick up momentum in the afternoon of Monday, reported national broadcaster Yle.

The return traffic was still moderate on Monday morning but started to gain momentum, said the report quoting the Tampere road traffic centre.

However, the traffic was still busy compared to a normal Sunday, said the Helsinki road traffic centre.

The chance for congestion has been allayed since the Easter return traffic has been ongoing for two days.So far there have been no reports of serious accidents.
