Helsinki Airport´s runway 3 to resume on Aug 3

The runway 3 of the Helsinki Airport will resume on August 3 following increase of flight operation, said a press release issued by Finavia, the company operates country´s airport.
The runway was closed at the end of March temporarily due to decrease of flight operation following coronavirus outbreak.
Because of the closed runway, the aircraft noise has focused on some areas during the spring.
Returning to normal landing and take-off routes will decrease the effects.
Opening the runway will enable more efficient noise management which decreases environmental effects, the press release added.
