The Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (Helsinginseudunliikenne–HSL) has decided to bring some changes to the timetable of bus services on various routes from 15 February.
Reduced passenger numbers and traffic volumes have shortened journey times on many routes, prompting the authority to change the timetable, said the THL in a press release on Friday.
There are changes to estimated arrival and departure times at stops.
The routes included in the timetable changes are: 14, 18, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 50, 51, 52, 56, 57, 59, 61, 61T, 63, 64, 65, 66, 66K, 67, 69, 70, 73, 74, 75, and 77; 134, 136, 143, 145, 146, 147, 157, 158 and 165, 321, 321N, 322, 332, 335, 335B, 345, and 345N; 411, 415, 415N, 421, 431, 431N, 435, 436, 436K, 436N, 437 and 437K, 518, 548, 549, 552, 555, 566, 566V, and 575, 611, 611B, 614, 615, 617, 623, 623K and 633, 717, 718, 722, 724, 731, and 739.
The new timetables are available in the Journey Planner (search on 15 February or later).
The timetables will be in place until 6 June 2021.
The HSL will switch to summer timetables two weeks earlier than usual this year due to reduced passenger numbers and the need to cut costs, said the press release.
