Eckerö Line to launch Helsinki- Hanko cruise

The cruise ship Eckerö Line will become the first to offer day-cruises from Helsinki and Hanko in June, said the company in a bulletin.

The company will offer day-cruises on three Saturdays falling on 12th, 19th, and 26th June.

The ship M/S Finlandia will depart from Helsinki at 9 am and pass through Tallinn and reach Hanko in the evening at 3.50 pm.The ship will then begin its trip back to Helsinki at 7.30 pm and will arrive in Helsinki at 11.00 pm.

The cruise ship will not pick passengers on board in Tallinn.

Eckerö Line CEO Taru Keronen expressed his delight to welcome leisure travellers to the ship's maiden trip to Hanko.

"Since travelling to Estonia is difficult due to quarantines,we decided to bring a completely new offer for corona-restricted tourism and be the first shipping company to offer day cruises from Helsinki to Hanko," said Keronen.
