Helsinki Airport wins Skytrax Award

Passengers have selected Helsinki Airport as the best airport in Northern Europe in a global airport customer satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax.

The award was given to country´s airport Finavia in Amsterdam on Wednesday, said Finavia in a press release on Thursday.

“We are delighted and proud that our passengers have once again chosen Helsinki Airport as the best airport in Northern Europe. Our airport has a strong position among the best airports in the world,” said Helsinki Airport Director Ulla Lettijeff from Finavia.

The Skytrax survey is an internationally renowned passenger survey measuring the service level of airports and covering more than 550 airports around the world.

The survey was conducted between August 2022 and February 2023. In the survey, passengers evaluated the level of airports’ services and products throughout the entire passenger journey.

In addition to being the best airport in Northern Europe, passengers also voted Helsinki Airport as the cleanest airport in Europe.
